Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes
March 8, 2021
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
2. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Katina Smith, Debbie Hill, Stacy Moorhead, and Mary Bohn.
3. Minutes from the prior meetings were approved.
4. Treasurer’s Report
a. We have nine homeowners who have not yet paid their annual dues. Interest on the balance will now begin.
5. Grounds/Facilities
a. Landscaping bid from LPs (Debbie – in progress)
b. Mulch for the playground – we have not added extra mulch to the playground in several years, and it is quite bare. Debbie will check the budget and place an order with Minick. Katina will find neighbors to help spread it when it arrives.
c. Fescue grass seed needed under the trees at the entrance, as there is not enough sunlight there for Bermuda grass. (Debbie will coordinate with LPs. Grass seed may be planted in Fall if this is not the right time)
6. Ad Hoc Committee Reports
a. Katina has organized the following committees:
i. Welcome Committee: Jordan Watson, Jennifer Hinkle, Jeralyn Stewart, Judi Startzman, and Denise Lawson
ii. Dcorating: Leslee Howze, Emily Tatro, Ingrid Thompson, Judi Startzman, Katie Okerlund
iii. Activities: Jordan Watson, Leslee Howze, Jennifer Hinkle, Emily Tatro, Katie Okerlund, and Denise Lawson
iv. Newsletter & Updates: Season Cox
7. Old Business
a. Status/cost of recent gate repairs due to snow storms (Stacy - complete)
b. Clickers needed and a gate code change for new homeowners (Watts family) and deactivation of any clickers retained by the Pierces. (Stacy – in progress)
c. Street light out at corner of 157th and Wild Creek Dr. (Katina opened work order 9000056390 with OG&E)
d. We have been requested to continue our support of the treatment for the pond, for which the cost is shared among the four neighborhoods bordering the pond. The Board voted to continue our support. Katina will inform the coordinator of our intent to continue.
e. Car parked on street at night for at least five days at rental house (Mary sent letter to resident and homeowner of 4709 NW 159th on 3/17)
8. New Business
a. Katina will check if Jennifer Hinkle’s husband has an emergency gate key as part of his work. Our prior contact in the neighborhood with an emergency key moved out of the neighborhood.
b. We would like to add information about our committees and activities to the main page on our website. Debbie will ask Bailey Williams for assistance in getting that started.
c. Katina will ask to be added as an admin to the community Facebook page.
d. The house at 15713 Creek Heights Dr. has been sold to the Gallagher family. Stacy will deactivate their clickers if they have not contacted the HOA within 10 days.
9. Date and time of the next meeting – April 12th at 7:00 PM at Katina’s house
