Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes
June 13, 2022
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM.
2. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Debbie Hill, Stacy Moorhead, Adam Shahan, and Mary Bohn.
3. Minutes from the prior meetings were approved.
4. Treasurer’s Report
a. Two homeowner dues are still outstanding and Debbie has exhausted all avenues to collect the dues.
They have now been turned over to the attorney for collection.
b. Costs include 6 months of liability insurance.
5. Grounds/Facilities
a. The annual that Debbie purchased for the entrance will be planted on 6/15/22.

7. Old Business
a. The annual neighborhood walkaround was completed (thank you, Debbie), and we selected the first yard of the month. Mary will send non-compliance letters resulting from the walkaround.
b. The benches at the playground need to be replaced. We may also want to place concrete blocks under the bench legs to keep them from sinking into the dirt. (Adam’s suggestion for the benches and blocks was approved and he will place the order)
c. Mary will contact masonry companies to get an evaluation of our brick wall along Lone Oak Drive and a quote for any work that is needed. The mason who provided repair work at the entrance in 2017 is no longer in business. (in progress – the first company contacted did not respond, but two new options are being pursued, including the Brick Doctor)
8. New Business
a. Lone Oak Pointe owns the culvert between their neighborhood and ours, and have contracted someone to clean it out. Although we are not obligated, the Board discussed assisting with the cost as a one-time good faith contribution. We will hold off until we know more about our own brick work cost.
b. Some large cracks have developed in our streets. Debbie will contact the prior contractor to look at the cracks and give us an estimate.
c. General information on the neighborhood website needs to be updated. Adam will take a look at it.
