Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes
April 11, 2022
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM.
2. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Debbie Hill, Stacy Moorhead, Adam Shahan, and Mary Bohn.
3. Minutes from the prior meetings were approved.
4. Treasurer’s Report
a. Five homeowners have still not paid their dues. Debbie will make a last effort to collect the dues and then turn over the remaining to the attorney for collection.
5. Grounds/Facilities
a. The pond maintenance invoice for the year was received and paid for the full year.
b. The annual service fee for the gate was paid.
6. Ad Hoc Committee Reports
7. Old Business
a. We are getting low on clickers. Stacy will order a box of ten. (complete)
b. The Board has approved the landscaping bid from LPs (Fernando’s) for the current year.
c. The red playground equipment will be painted when the weather cooperates (pending).
d. The benches at the playground need to be replaced. We may also want to place concrete blocks under the bench legs to keep them from sinking into the dirt. (Adam’s suggestion for the benches and blocks was approved and he will place the order)
e. Mary will contact Bailey Williams regarding updating the web site. (Bailey has moved, Mary will look into the updates herself.)
f. The sprinklers will be checked and reactivated (J-Mac Sprinklers - complete)
g. The Easter parade and activities were a success.
8. New Business
a. Debbie will work with LPs to replace the dead holly at the entrance.
b. Debbie ordered reflective tape to put on the bottom of the entry gate.
c. Debbie will order a yard of the month sign. We will designate a yard once a month during the summer (4 times/year) and give the homeowner a $25 gift card.
d. Katina will initiate planning for July 4th activities.
e. The annual neighborhood walkaround by the Board will occur in June and we will pick the first yard of the month.
9. Date and time of the next meeting – May 9th at 7:00 PM at Katina’s house.
