Lone Oak Creek Homeowners’ Association Minutes

October 8, 2018

1. The meeting was called to order at 6:58 PM.

2. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Lindsi Kerstetter, Debbie Hill, Nick

Nixon, and Mary Bohn.

3. Minutes from the prior meeting were approved.

4. Treasurer’s Report (Debbie)

a. Unpaid dues from 2017 and prior (one homeowner) – the lien has been filed and

garnishment of wages is moving forward

b. Unpaid 2018 dues (one homeowner) – the remaining homeowner has paid the dues

5. Grounds/Facilities Report

a. Street Repairs

i. Merritt Paving’s quote to fix all the major cracks was significantly less than that of

A&B Paving or Affordable Asphalt and Concrete. We approved the bid from Merritt.

ii. Nick will determine whether we can also get some of the small cracks fixed by

Merritt within our $7K budget.

b. Street sign for 159th & Creek Heights

i. The sign has been ordered for a total cost of $216. It should arrive within a week.

c. Sprinklers

i. The water leak at the entrance is being worked and was fixed subsequent to the

meeting.

ii. The sprinkler company will be coming out soon to winterize all of the watering

zones and to fix a leak found at the east end of the creek.

d. The speed limit sign at the entrance is faded. Debbie will order a new sign.

8. New Business

a. A new homeowner closed on their house at the end of July. Debbie was out of town so

a welcome letter was not sent. Lindsi has been communicating with the homeowner

and Debbie will send a letter.

9. Date and time of the next meeting – Monday, November 5th, at 7:00 PM at the Hill home
