The meeting was called to order at 7:18 PM.

  1. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Lindsi Kerstetter, Debbie Hill, Kevin Howze, Amy Johnson, and Mary Bohn.

  2. Minutes from the prior meeting were approved.

  3. Treasurer’s Report

  4. Eleven annual dues remain outstanding, including the one for the foreclosure house which we will receive shortly since the house has closed.

  5. Grounds/Facilities Report

  6. An additional bid was obtained for grounds maintenance. The Board decided to proceed with Fernando’s for grass fertilizing, weed control, and cutting, and with Plan-It Landscaping for flower bed maintenance. The grass maintenance will begin right away, and Plan-It will plant the annuals after April 15. Kevin will obtain the contracts from each company and circulate to the Board for review prior to signing.

  7. Kevin - contact Noel Jacobs to get information on the street sign for 159th & Creek Heights, which we have been unable to fix.

  8. Kevin - investigate the electrical lines at the neighborhood entrance to see if we could light up the entrance sign. We may also look into solar lights for that purpose.

  9. Kevin – identify a source for mulch for the playground. Fernando’s will provide and install the mulch.

  10. Amy – request a review of our sprinklers to check for leaks and ensure efficient watering. Amy is completing the city’s application at this time.

  11. Ad Hoc Committee Reports - none

  12. Old Business

  13. Lindsi - contact developer again regarding mowing the green belt behind Wild Creek Drive. (no response from the developer)

  14. Lindsi - get a price from the developer for the HOA to buy the green belt. (no response from the developer)

  15. Debbie - transition the financials to Quickbooks in June.

  16. Mary - send a notification to the new neighbors, Burke, at 4636 NW 158th Street reminding them that the covenants prohibit parking a vehicle or trailer in the street overnight, and that trailers cannot be parked in driveways. (complete)

  17. Bailey - look into a new website.

  18. New Business

  19. The street light is not working near Amy Johnson’s home. She will call the City Action Line.

  20. There is dirt and vegetation collecting in the ditch at the end of Wild Creek Drive, between our community and the Point. This will eventually cause a drainage issue. Amy will discuss this also with the City Action Line.

  1. Meetings

  2. The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 1, at 7:00 PM at the Hill home.
