Treasurer’s Report Treasurer’s Report
There are 19 outstanding annual dues as of this meeting, which is pretty good.
The foreclosure house at the south end of Wild Creek is being sold, but because the former owner declared bankruptcy, we will not be able to collect the last 2 years of dues.
Debbie will transition the financials to Quickbooks in June.
Grounds/Facilities Report
We have two bids for landscaping, one from Scenic and one from Battles. The quote from Battles is about $4000 less but has significantly fewer annual and perennials. We will obtain one more bid from a landscaper and mowing company separately to see if that improves the cost (Kevin).
Kevin will contact Noel Jacobs to get information on the street sign for 159th & Creek Heights, which we have been unable to fix.
Kevin will investigate the electrical lines at the neighborhood entrance to see if we could light up the entrance sign. We may also look into solar lights for that purpose.
Kevin will make calls regarding bags of mulch for the playground.
Amy will identify the city group which performs sprinkler evaluations. We need to have the sprinklers checked for leaks and to ensure efficient watering (nothing to report as of this meeting).
Ad Hoc Committee Reports - none
Old Business
Lindsi - contact developer again regarding mowing the green belt behind Wild Creek Drive. (still no response from the developer)
Lindsi - get a price from the developer for the HOA to buy the green belt, and ask Lone Oak Parke how they handled land between a row of houses, which was owned by the developer but then became homeowner property. (still no response from the developer)
New Business – items from the Annual Meeting
A homeowner reported seeing HTE Landscaping trying to pry open the exit gate. The Board would like to contact the company to let them know of this incident.
Mary will send a notification to the new neighbors, Burke, at 4636 NW 158th Street reminding them that the covenants prohibit parking a vehicle or trailer in the street overnight, and that trailers cannot be parked in driveways.
Bailey will look into a new website.
Meetings
The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 3rd, at 7:00 PM at the Hill home.
