Lindsi Kerstetter called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

  1. Quorum was certified. Board members present were Lindsi Kerstetter, Debbie Hill, Amy Johnson, and Mary Bohn.

  2. Minutes from the prior meeting were approved.

  3. Treasurer’s Report

  4. Five annual HOA dues are still outstanding. Debbie will send statements again to those five.

  5. The water bill still seems high, and we are concerned whether watering is occurring every day and/or twice a day in some zones. Debbie will call Casey at Scenic to ask about the frequency of watering and to ask about the rock work, which has not been done at the entrance.

  6. Grounds/Facilities Report

  7. Noel will ask Kevin Massey if knows the location of the sprinkler controls, so we can check them ourselves.

  8. Ad Hoc Committee Reports - none

  9. Old Business

  10. Street repairs

  11. A contract has been signed with A&B.

  12. The initial plans from A&B were that the flume and crack work would be done at the end of July, and the re-sealing with tar would be done in August. We are concerned about the schedule and getting notification out to homeowners in time. Amy will contact Noel to assist in scheduling a meeting for the Board with A&B next week.

  13. Notification to homeowners will include a sign on the front gates, emails, door-to-door notification, and information on the community Facebook page.

  14. Revisions to the HOA web site

  15. Stephanie Lippert discussed her recommendation that we use wix.com as the development platform for the HOA’s web site. The cost will be about $13/month for using wix.com and about $80/year for our domain. We agreed to proceed with this solution.

  16. Sign saying “no parking/no waiting” at the entrance of our subdivision.

  17. We agreed during the last meeting to pay for installation. Noel will coordination installation of the sign in early August.

  18. A walk-through of the neighborhood was done on June 14th resulting in the following violation letters:

  19. Sweger, 15901 Creek Heights Dr., removal and replacement of dead tree

  20. Cullison, 4709 NW 158th St., weeds in the yard, and additional tree needed due to corner lot

  21. Eubanks, 4625 NW 158th St., weeds in the yard

  22. McNeill, 15808 Creek Heights Dr., removal of dead tree in flower bed

  23. Busby, 4705 NW 157th St., removal and replacement of dead tree,

  24. Easwaran, 15709 Creek Heights St., grass needing to be cut

  25. Pierce, 4708 NW 156th St., boat in driveway

  26. Fence at the park bordering the Mauldin property

  27. According to the covenants, the HOA is not responsible for fences bordering common areas.

  28. We talked with the other Lone Oak communities, and the consensus is that the HOA and homeowner should share the cost of fences bordering the playgrounds.

  29. Lindsi communicated with the Mauldin family that we cannot replace or repair the fence at this time due to the expense of the street repairs. This item is on hold.

  30. Google Fiber

  31. A survey, requested by Google, requires a lengthy contract with the HOA. The other HOAs have approved the contract and survey. Lindsi will also approve on behalf of our HOA.

  32. The street sign at 159th and Creek Heights was on the ground.

  33. Noel has the sign and will coordinate getting it back on the pole.

  34. New Business

  36. Meetings

  37. The next meeting will be held on Monday, August 1st, at 7:00 PM at the Bohn home.
