Lindsi Kerstetter called the meeting to order at 7:22 PM.
Quorum was certified. Board members present were Lindsi Kerstetter, Kevin Massey, Debbie Hill, and Mary Bohn.
Minutes from the prior meeting were not available for review.
Treasurer’s Report
Seven homeowners are still outstanding in paying their annual dues, including David Carr for the empty lot.
Debbie reviewed the latest month’s expenses.
Grounds/Facilities Report
Scenic planted the flower beds at the front gates this week. Kevin will review with them what has been completed and what work is remaining.
Kevin will get a quote from Scenic for 2-3 trees at the front entrance.
We discussed adding a few trees to the playground as well as a small basketball court and a picnic table. Kevin will obtain quotes and work up drawings.
Lindsi will work on consolidating a list of current email addresses for our community so we can later request homeowner feedback regarding gate cameras, a basketball court, covenant changes to restrict home leases/rentals, etc.
Ad Hoc Committee Reports
There are none to report.
Old Business
Actions underway as follow-up to the basketball goal discussion:
Mary will draft second notice non-compliance letters, for review by the Board members. She will then mail certified letters to the Gracey and Goodger families regarding the basketball goals installed facing the street. The homeowners have 30 days from the date of the letter to remove the goals. (Note: the letters were mailed on May 14, 2015)
Lindsi contacted the Lone Oak developers, who initially wrote the covenants for all of the Lone Oak communities, for their understanding of the covenant regarding structures. No response had been received as of the meeting. (Note: the developer called Lindsi on May 5th to discuss the basketball goals. He informed Lindsi that they are clearing in violation of the covenants and are also against city ordinance.)
New Business
Letters need to be mailed to some homeowners regarding weeds. Debbie will send Mary the addresses.
Street repairs
Kevin suggested that a seal coat on all streets could keep them from needing to be replaced.
We do need to fix the pot hole on Wild Creek and NW 158th.
Lindsi will update the contact information on the HOA web site
